Mt Difficulty Central Otago Pinot Gris 2012
Well regarded by Robert Parker, Michael Cooper and nzwineonline! One of the best Pinot Gris available out of Central Otago. This has been given some winemaker infulence on premium fruit to produce a textural, concentrated gris that finishes dry thanks to some well-balanced acidity.

Mt Difficulty Central Otago Pinot Noir 2011
One of the great Pinots of Central Otago from one of the best-known wine makers of the region, Mt Difficulty. Great concentration and balance; black cherry and blackberry dominate the aroma and these are underpinned by Christmas cake spice and liquorice. A Central Otago classic.

Mt Difficulty Long Gully Pinot Noir 2010
Long Gully Pinot Noir is hand crafted in very limited quantities and only released in outstanding vintages. Long Gully has always displayed classic dark perfumed red berry characters and for this warmer vintage, perfumed boysenberry and red cherry really shine through. These same berries dominate the entry onto the palate, and the classic Long Gully dense flow through the mid-palate. The wine finishes strongly with masculine fine-grained tannin flowing into red berry fruit. Cellar to 2022

This vintage is distinctive showing classic Pipeclay Stella cherry and blackberry with a slight spice kick and light violet florals. The wine displays lovely flow with a perfumed dark berry entry which moves into a rich and sensuous mid-palate. The wine finishes strongly with a combination of fruit and finely grained structural tannin. It’s an extremely well balanced and graceful wine. Cellar to 2022.

Mt Difficulty 'Roaring Meg' Central Otago Pinot Noir 2011
Mt Difficulty quality, at a more affordable price. This is Mt Difficulty's alternate label - great winemaking and fruit, but more approachable in it's youth. The wine has a sweet berry entry which displays these same characters in abundance. Tannins rise gracefully out of the mid-palate to finish the wine.

Mt Difficulty 'Roaring Meg' Central Otago Riesling 2012
Drier than it's 'Target Gully' cousin, but still retaining excellent fruit sweetness and balanced acidity. This wine shows excellent concentration of cool climate characters, with citrus and pip fruit blossom aromas: the palate is dominated by bright red apple flavours. An excellent aperitif or match with Asian stir-fries. Drink to 2018.

Mt Difficulty 'Target Gully' Central Otago Riesling 2012
A great example of how NZ winemakers are achieving balance in their Rieslings. High residual sugars have been retained to balance out naturally high acidity. This is a great Central Otago Riesling that will reward cellaring while approachable in it's youth.
