Black Estate Waipara Chardonnay 2010
The Black Estate Chardonnay reveals a complex nose of grapefruit, nectarine, white peach, walnut, vanilla, and crushed oyster shell. The pallet is dense and expansive, transparent of the clay soils from which it originates. A powerful wine with salivating mineral persistence.

Main Divide Waipara Chardonnay 2009
This is a really interesting and beautifully constructed Chardonnay from Pegasus Bay. Wild yeast, old French oak, malo-lactic fermentation all combine to make a savoury and creamy mouthfeel, complementing the initial citrus and stonefruits.

Main Divide Waipara Pinot Gris 2011
This is such a fantastic example and a benchmark for New Zealand Pinot Gris. The palate is immediately delicious, some phenolics, lots of pear, juicy, mouthfilling but tidied up with a fine acidity. Great length. One of our very favourites from NZ.

Pegasus Bay Waipara Pinot Noir 2008
One of New Zealand's benchmark pinot noirs. The wine is a bright ruby colour with aromas and flavours suggestive of black cherries, purple plums, blackberries and raspberries. There is a savoury underlay of roast game, grilled bacon and mushrooms.

Black Estate Waipara Riesling 2010
This is such a great Riesling, confirmed by Nick Stock's video review on our site. The wine shows a crisp and fresh bouquet of cool river stones. Emerging nectarine, white peach, mandarin and lime draw you into the glass where rich stone fruits coat dense and textural phenolics. A great example of Waipara Riesling.
