Neudorf 'Moutere' Chardonnay 2010
This wine makes anybody's Top 10 list for NZ chardonnay. The bouquet is tight and concentrated with aromas of citrus fruits, mealy-nutty oak and minerals with a steely, flinty cut. The palate shows concentrated citrus moving in to white stonefruits and hints of melon and toasted nuts. The trademark Moutere minerality runs through the spine of the sien from start to finish. Neudorf Nelson Chardonnay 2010
The Neudorf Nelson chardonnay shows incredible concentration and richness on the palate. This wine is in perfect balance, with all elements pushing and pulling at eachother in perfect time. Sweet stonefruits are balanced with fine lively acidity, richness on the palate is matched with trademark Neudorf minerality/flint. The oak is there supporting and carrying the fruit, not dominating it. This all leads to a long savoury and incredibly satisfying finish.

Neudorf 'Maggies Block' Nelson Pinot Gris 2011
The 2011 Maggies Block Pinot Gris shows a nose of rich pear and peach with a hint of light spice. The standout feature of this wine though is the palate, which is big, bold and texturally interesting. A drier style than many at just 4gms residual, this wine cries out for food.

Neudorf 'Moutere' Nelson Pinot Noir 2010
This wine is a regular in most writers Top NZ Pinot's list, and is certainly the best example from Nelson. The 2010 Moutere Pinot Noir shows a deep nose of licorice and spice, larger red and black fruits and very fine tannins. The wine flows across the palate with ease towards a refined and elegant finish. Overall impression is of a full yet sleek wine of great structure and integration. Tai Nui Nelson/Marlborough Pinot Noir 2008
This is a really lovely blend of fruit from two neighbouring regions at the top of the South Island. It is a lighter style of Pinot Noir, but still provides plenty of rich strawberry fruit on both nose and palate. Some spice and game at the end of the palate provides interest to a lively finish. Neudorf 'Brightwater' Nelson Riesling 2010
This is the sort of wine which converts non Riesling drinker sand affirms the rest. Juicy, succulent and exciting on the palate. Marmalade with hints of lime cordial wrapped around a nucleus of river stone minerality. It’s length is impressive and the weight is rewarding with just a touch of sweetness to tame the natural grape acid.

This wine rates right up there with Pegasus Bay as New Zealand's best riesling. A deeply complex wine with grapefruit, local oranges, tangelos and a lick of orange blossom and ripe guavas. The natural grape sugars are kept in line by the lively mineral acidity. Only 260 cases of this sensational wine were produced and availability may be limited.
