Spy Valley Marlborough Riesling 2011
The Spy Valley Riesling shows a nose of ginger, lime and floral notes with a hint of flint/minerality. The palate is full and rich with ripe citrus and wet-stone flavour spectrum, the finish is persistent and dry. 10gms residual sugar adds some sweetness for balance.

This is the sort of wine which converts non Riesling drinker sand affirms the rest. Juicy, succulent and exciting on the palate. Marmalade with hints of lime cordial wrapped around a nucleus of river stone minerality. It’s length is impressive and the weight is rewarding with just a touch of sweetness to tame the natural grape acid.

This wine shows intense aromatics with citrus, honeysuckle flower, spice and mineral notes. The palate is elegant and focused,with juicy acidity and great length of flavour. At around 7gms residual sugar, this is not a searingly dry style, with more texture and plenty of mouth-watering acidity to finish.

Black Estate Waipara Riesling 2010
This is such a great Riesling, confirmed by Nick Stock's video review on our site. The wine shows a crisp and fresh bouquet of cool river stones. Emerging nectarine, white peach, mandarin and lime draw you into the glass where rich stone fruits coat dense and textural phenolics. A great example of Waipara Riesling.

Spy Valley Envoy Marlborough Riesling 2008
This is some seriously good Riesling, a winner of multiple accolades and a massive hit at all our tastings. The nose is of vibrant lime, lemon and green apple with a pleasant hint of wet river stones. The sugar/acid balance is in the "Spatlese" style, with refreshing juicy fruit characters. Beeswax and lanoline linger in the background and the high extract leaves a faint impression of salt. Residual sugar of 79gms is beautifully balanced by the grape's natural acidity. Alcohol is just 9.0%
