Wither Hills 'Two Tracks' Marlborough Chardonnay 2009
This must be the best-value chardonnay we have tried at anywhere near this price point. An easy drinking Chardonnay displaying superb balance between bright citrus fruit and the subtle French oak influence. Really lovely finish with some nice spice from the oak.

Amisfield Central Otago Pinot Gris 2010
A rich textural Pinot Gris from the Amisfield crew. There is a fantastic complexity to this wine. It has elegant lifted aromas of spice, white peach and ripe pear, with a hint of classic brioche from the barrel fermentation. The palate is refined with a wonderful texture and long finish.

Urlar Martinborough Pinot Gris 2010
Certified Organic. We ere absolutely blown away when first tasting this Pinot Gris from Urlar. This is a drier style (just 2.0gms residual) with aromas of sweet pear, honeysuckle and stonefruit overlaying a generous mouthfeel of great weight and depth. A wonderfully textural example of pinot gris where the winemaker has achieved a perfect balance. 96/100 Huon Hooke SMH 06/12/2011

Tai Nui Nelson/Marlborough Pinot Noir 2008
This is a really lovely blend of fruit from two neighbouring regions at the top of the South Island. It is a lighter style of Pinot Noir, but still provides plenty of rich strawberry fruit on both nose and palate. Some spice and game at the end of the palate provides interest to a lively finish. Villa Maria 'Private Bin' Marlborough Pinot Noir 2009
This wine has a perfumed bouquet of ripe cherries and raspberry fruits - hallmarks of Marlborough Pinot Noir. On the palate the wine displays ripe fruit with complex savoury and spice elements. Soft, silky, fine-grained tannins provide structure and definition, yet also allow for the wine to be consumed young. Classic Villa Maria Pinot.

Craggy Range 'Old Renwick' Marlbourough Sauvignon Blanc 2010
A classy Marlborough example. Crisp, direct fruits of gooseberry & citrus are complemented with lively acidity. A great aperitif or seafood match.

Dog Point Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc 2011
LOVE this wine. In a world awash with some ordinary Sauvignon Blanc, it's nice to know there are some classics you can rely on to deliver year after year, and this is one of them. Check out Nick Stock's video review of the 2010 vintage.
