NZ Wine Events in Australia for NZ Wine Month

NZ in a Glass - Mel, Syd & Bris 

NZWINEONLINE is very excited to once again be the retail partner for the premier NZ wine tasting events held annually by the NZ Winegrowers' Board. The best thing about these events is that they bring together a range of well-known wines along with a number of boutique producers whose wines may not currently be available in Australia. There's a ridiculous number of wines on offer here, covering every varietal and region NZ has to offer. Tickets are $45 + BF and available from Ticketmaster on Tuesday 25th..Last year's Sydney event sold out in just 4 hours so you'll need to be quick!

 

New Zealand Wine Showcase - Sydney, Feb. 26

We are proud to announce a wee side-show to the NZ in a Glass event in Sydney. This tasting pulls together a handful of the producers from NZ in a Glass to a more intimate setting. Once again, we are back at the Tilbury Hotel in Woolloomooloo for a very cruisy little afternoon session from 12:00-2:00 on Saturday the 26th Feb. More details are available from our website or you can book tickets from us at the following link. Price is $35 or $30 earlybird until 05 Feb. Sauvignon Blanc for Grown-Ups - Syd & Mel

Frankly we were getting a little bored with the large amount of poor press that little old Savvie Blanc has been getting over the past year, due in large part to a well-oiled PR machine from a certain producer who has a vested interest in seeing Sav Blanc sales fall. The fact is, NZ Savvie remains the drink of choice for most people in Oz and when made well is simply unbeatable for flavour and value. Come join us and a panel of winemakers as we examine the exciting different styles of Sauvignon Blanc available in Australia today. We'll taste our way through different regions outside of Marlborough, the sub-regions within Marlborough, and also view some exciting new winemaker styles starting to hit our shelves. A great chance to learn about what keeps making NZ Sauvignon Blanc such a fantastic wine year after year.
