Green Series - Part 1: Sustainable Winegrowing Sustainable Winegrowing is defined by the NZ Wine Marketing Board as "...the economical production of
market quality wines and grapes, giving priority to methods that are the safest possible to the environment and human health. SWNZ is a programme based on continual improvement." It is essentially an audit programme that vineyards and wineries voluntarily join, not dissimilair to other quality improvement programmes like the ISO standards.....READ MORE HERE.

New Products
We've been busy adding a whole range of new products to our site since our last newsletter, with even more lined up for the coming weeks. Check out some of these fantastic new additions: Pegasus Bay Pinot Noir 2007 - An ethereal wine and one of New Zealand's benchmark examples. 94/100 from Gourmet Traveller Wine.
Pegasus Bay Riesling - Perhaps the very best Riesling we have on the site. This wine achieves the most remarkable balance between sweetness and acidity, while bringing clean fruit flavours to the front of the palate. Omaka Springs Pinot Gris - A very pleasant easy-drinking Pinot Gris - Perfect summer drinking. Omaka Springs Sauvignon Blanc - Our first Sauvignon Blanc on the site to have a splash of Semillon for added complexity, still retaining all those distrinctive Marlborough qualities. Omaka Springs 'Falveys' Pinot Noir - A wonderful example of how good Marlborough Pinot Noir can be. Waipara Hills 'Soul of the South' Riesling - Stunning value at only $15.95. Another NZ Riesling to achieve great balance - If you haven't tried NZ Riesling before this is a great place to start. Invivo Sauvginon Blanc - Probably our best value Sauvignon Blanc to date at only $13.95 on special. This debut vintage (2008) was awarded 4 stars by Michael Cooper, with their 2009 (coming soon!) achieving a whole list of medals and awards. A great wine from a talented winemaker. Look out for Man O War wines in our next issue of the Newsletter - Some World-beating examples from Waiheke Island.
