NZWINEONLINE Terms & Conditions:

Delivery:

In order to purchase Goods from nzwineonline.com.au (NZWO), the Delivery Address which you nominate will need to be within a location where our nominated courier company provides delivery services. We deliver to just about everywhere in Australia allowed by law, but reserve the right to not deliver to specific areas.

Anyone at the Delivery Address who receives the Goods shall be presumed by NZWO  to be authorised to receive the Goods on your behalf.  NZWO may request that the person who receives the Goods at the Delivery Address provide satisfactory evidence of proof of age. NZWO will refuse to deliver the Goods if the person receiving the Goods is unable or unwilling to provide evidence of proof of age. The Goods will not be delivered to persons under the age of eighteen (18) years or to persons who fail to provide proof of age satisfactory to NZWO that the person is aged eighteen (18) years or over.

The person responsible for delivering liquor may refuse to deliver the liquor to any person who fails to provide proof of age satisfactory to the person responsible that the person is aged eighteen (18) years or over.

Delivery Timeframes:

We pride ourselves on our quick delivery timeframes. We make every effort to fulfil orders within 48  (working) hours, and the delivery timeframes will vary depending on your location (eg Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane Metro is next day delivery from fulfilment). If we are unable to fulfil your order within 5 working days (eg due to depleted stock), we will contact you to discuss delivery options.

Refunds & Exchanges

NZWO is committed to delivering you a quality service and product. Should the wine not reach you in a satisfactory condition (damaged bottles, corked wine, etc), we will make every effort to replace the stock or exchange with a similar product. We do however require the return of the damaged goods in most cases, and will contact you to arrange pick-up. NZWO also reserves the right to refund the cost of the product affected as an alternative to replacement.

Changes of vintage

Vintage changes occur regularly throughout the year, and we are not always able to notify our customers ahead of time. We take all efforts to provide our customers with the vintages stated on this website. Should you receive a different vintage to the one stated on our website, we are happy to exchange or refund if you are not satisfied with the new vintage. We are unable to replace wine that has been opened first on the above basis. The return of the item under these circumstances is the customer's responsibility.

Wine Enclosures

The majority of NZ wines are now sealed under screwcap, but some wines are sealed with various types of cork. The enclosures are not highlighted on the site. If you have any concerns about the type of enclosure, please contact us before your order and we will be happy to confirm the type of enclosure.

Out of stock

Occasionally we may run out of stock on certain items, particularly limited release items. Should this occur, we will always contact our customers to organise an appropriate substitution.

Disruptions to internet & system failures. E.&O.E.

In the case of network, systemic, IT based, or bank transaction errors, we will make every attempt to deliver to the customer a fair and reasonable outcome. The shopper must be vigilant generally when making purchases through the internet and be wary of it's nature. We take all reasonable precautions in the administration and maintenance of our on-line systems, and advise our site visitors to be prudent, to exercise caution, and to not abuse the service.

The Wine Club

As a member of the nzwineonline wine club, you will enjoy savings of up to (and sometimes more) than 20% on our normal retail prices. The savings will vary for each mixed case. Mixed cases are changed quarterly. Customers can cancel their membership at any time, and there are no joining fees. We do require 7 working days notice of cancellation. Any orders which are due to be processed within 7 days of cancellation will still be shipped and charged to the customers’ credit card.

Privacy policy

At NZ Wine Online, we care about our customers and take all steps to ensure any data you provide us is kept secure. We will never sell your data to a third-party. There may be instances where we need to provide your data to a third-party in order to carry out functions explicitly for NZ Wine Online. Such examples may include mail houses, outsourced customer service functions and financial institutions for billing purposes. NZ Wine online may also need to share your data where permitted or required under the Privacy Act (1998).
