Alpha Domus 'AD' Hawkes Bay Chardonnay 2007

Exclusive to NZWINEONLINE in Australia.

The nose displays a delicate aroma of ripe stonefruit, fig and orange blossom. Hints of biscuit and mineral characters add complexity. This is an elegant, well balanced wine with flavours of orange zest, ripe peach and citrus. Barrel fermentation contributes vanillin, spice and creamy hints. Crisp acidity results in a long finish.

Drink now through 2012.

Oh my! This is as special as NZ Chardonnays get! Beautifully balanced and complex - toasty oak, lees stirred creaminess and stone fruits. This reminds me of home. Gorgeous.

The nose is dominated by ripe stonefruits - and a fine creamy softness and hints of cahew nuts. Palate is very delicate, finely balanced, soft acidity, stonefruits - finest touch of oak. Great mouthfeel, long finish. loved it
