A blend of Cabernet Sauvignon 43%, Merlot 41%, Petit Verdot 7%, Malbec 6% and Cabernet Franc 3% from the Gimblett Gravels region of Hawkes Bay. 2008 was a strong vintage in Hawkes Bay. Black fruits such as cassis and plum on the nose, followed by the palate of black fruits, complemented by a mouth-filling structure and fine-grained texture.

Great for drinking with red meats and game, including duck.. One of our favourites. Drink now-2017.
