On the nose the wine displays wonderfully aromatic notes of old leather, black doris plums and sweet fertile earth. Background notes of sweet vanilla, chocolate and slightly burnt toast add to the effect. The palate doesn't disappoint - plump fruits without being flabby and a subtle spice on the finish.
