Wither Hills Marlborough Pinot Gris 2011
This is a fantastically balanced Pinot Gris in a drier style than many. The wine shows varietal
characteristics of ripe limes, quince, honeysuckle, pear and peach. A
small parcel is fermented in ancient French oak barrels, enhancing the
wine's palate weight and texture. The wine is bottled carefully to
retain and capture the delicate aromatics, lush flavours and subtle
palate weight. A great benchmark for Marlborough Pinot Gris.

“Scented and mouthfilling, very finely poised wine with strong,
ripe pear, spice and peach flavours, a sliver of sweetness, and
excellent harmony and richness. Great value...”
