Mt Difficulty 'Roaring Meg' Central Otago Pinot Gris 2011

This wine has aromatics reminiscent of a fruit cocktail full of white pear, passionfruit and melon. On the palate this is duplicated with lovely rich flavours, a textured mid palate and an off-dry finish.

Really impressed with this pinot gris. Not too sweet, it has lovely acidity which stops it coying like some NZ pinot Gris I have tried. Pear and lychees dominate with some spice in the finish.
