Waihopai Marlborough Pinot Gris 2010
The fruit for this wine came off the high altitude vineyards of the Waihopai Valley,Marlborough – picked very ripe to ensure absolute flavour. The nose is aromatically gentle with summer flowers and citrus contrasts. The palate shows peach and passionfruit up front, with a hint of barley sugar. A soft and developing finish.
Match with smoked fish and poultry. Drink now- late 2012.
