Tai Nui Nelson/Marlborough Pinot Noir 2008
The Tai Nui Pinot Noir shows a lifted nose of ripe strawberry, pungent game and subtle fresh picked herbs. The palate is pleasantly light to medium in weight displaying tamarillo and spicy blueberry, with some leathery Pinot charm at the finish. 20% barrel ageing has lended some subtle complexity to the wine.
Match with grilled quail. Drink now through mid 2012.
