Most Martinborough winemakers can't believe their luck. After the horrors of 2007 came the redeeming 2008 vintage and this has now been backed up by an absolute stunner in 2009. The nose of this wine is cherries, plums and a hint of earthiness. A rich Pinot Noir with flavours of ripe sweet cherries and spice. Savoury tones on the finish with great length supported through silky tannins. Classic Martinborough.
