Wither Hills Marlborough Pinot Noir 2010
A wonderful deep garnet hue sets the tone for this classic Pinot Noir. The aromas are youthful, complex, and ever evolving in the glass. Look for aromas of ripe black cherry and rich plum, surrounded by blueberry fruit and spice with hints of licorice and rose petal.
Beautifully structured and immediately approachable, will continue to evolve through to 2014+.

clear crimson colour; a beautifully articulated and crafted pinot, with
effortless red fruit flavours and silky texture; gold medal at Air New Zealand
Wine Awards no surprise." James Halliday, December 2010

- “…has
New Zealand pinot noir written all over it…It’s sumptuous and
decadent…It smells and tastes of cinnamon toast, oak, cherry cola,
sweet green herbs, plums spice and a vague meatiness. In short: it’s
yum, plush and ready to hook into now.”
Big Red Wine Book 2009/2010, Campbell Mattinson & Gary Walsh
- 94 Points (2008 Vintage)- "It's great to see Wither Hills continuing to shine with this variety, especially from an uneven vintage. I have tasted this wine three times and it's showing good consistency, displaying liftedaromas of red/dark cherry, game, mushroom and beautifully integrated cedary oak. The palate is rounded and plush with velvety texture and supple tannins." Sam Kim, Wine Orbit, August 2010
