The Serine Syrah shows a lovely nose with rich blackberry and black cherry aromas, complented with cinnamon and clove and a floral note of violet. The palate leads with berryfruit and black cherries, together with vanilla and spice. The oak is nicely balanced and the wine has elegant, finely textured tannins. Velvety texture, a lovely clean finish and a long length.

The palate is concentrated and weighty, but not heavy, showing delicate texture and loads of fine-grained tannins providing a superb structure to this promising wine.
