Amisfield Dry Riesling Central Otago 2009
check out our video review
This wine shows intense aromatics with citrus, honeysuckle flower, spice and mineral notes. The palate is elegant and focused, with juicy acidity and great length of flavour. At around 7gms residual sugar, this is not a searingly dry style, with more texture and plenty of mouth-watering acidity to finish.

2010 Vintage

  • 4 Stars "Bright pale straw-yellow colour with a pale edge, this has a soft, tight, but fragrant nose of citrus fruits, white florals and exotic jasmine notes with a minerally aspect. Dryish to taste, this has an attractive, delicate palate with gentle lime fruits, floral blossoms and minerals, the soft acidity providing a restrained tension. The wine is sleek but with a soft roundness to the texture. Some zestiness enhances the brightness on the finish." Raymond Chan, August 2011
  • 5 Stars  "Delicate yet concentrated, displaying fine aromas of lemon pith, floral and flint. The palate is precise and beautifully poised, showing refined texture and bright acidity, leading to an exceptionally long finish. The wine is elegantly dry and mouthwateringly delicious." Sam Kim, Wine Orbit, July 2011
