The nose is of vibrant lime, lemon and green apple with a pleasant hint of wet river stones. The sugar/acid balance is in the "Spatlese" style, with refreshing juicy fruit characters. Beeswax and lanoline linger in the background and the high extract leaves a faint impression of salt. Residual sugar of 79gms is beautifully balanced by the grape's natural acidity. Alcohol is just 9.0%
