Mt Difficulty 'Target Gully' Central Otago Riesling 2010
Floral and ripe stonefruit notes compete in the aroma of this Riesling. On the palate these flavours dance in harmony. Residual sugar (30gL) has been retained to balance the high natural acidity. This residual sugar has also fleshed out the mid palate of the wine, and ensured a relatively low alcohol at 11.5%.
Drink now or cellar for several years. Cuisine Magazine recommends matching this with foie gras - who are we to argue?

- 4.5 Stars “You know you’re in good hands from the moment your nose is greeted by
the intense herbal, musk and honeysuckle aromas. Attractively fleshy,
stone-fruit and apple notes are well framed by crisp acids – the perfect
foil for foie gras.” Cuisine Magazine, March 2010
